HELPLINE- CENTRE FOR CRISIS CONTROL is a voluntary organization Registered under Charitable Societies Act of 1955 and based in Thiruvananthapuram district, engaged in various service activities. The office functions near Government Eye Hospital, Red Cross Road, Opposite to Public Health Training School, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
Unforgettable Accomplishment
Dr Suraraj Mani introduced a free Telephonic Counseling service for the first time in the district for the amelioration of mental stress of masses at large. With the intention of helping the common public he took initiative in integrating and coordinating the services of his professional leaders, friends, spiritual leaders
INSPIRATION
The untimely demise of Dr.V.Suraraj Mani, the famous psychiatrist and secretary of Kerala State Mental Health Authority inspired the setting up of HELP LINE, CENTRE FOR CRISIS CONTROL. The healthy , enthusiastic and beloved Doctor passed away while examining patients at the General Hospital on 22nd February 2003.
